The Miles of Smiles: This is our most moderately paced ride, and is usually a happy and social event. Standard group riding etiquette applies to all iCycle rides: Strive to keep the group together, call out or point out hazards, no earbuds or loud sound systems, stay off aerobars, ride smoothly and predictably, avoid abrupt maneuvers. The route is chosen for scenic beauty and to avoid traffic, major thoroughfares and bad streets, but you are still riding on city streets with cars. This is a group ride on the streets of Houston in traffic. Your bike should be in good working order and you should have a flat fixing kit with you. Lights should be bright! At least 100 lumen front light and rear light 15 lumen or better are required. Be prepared to go at least 16 mph average. Join us as we ride 23 miles from i Cycle Bike Shop at 6:30 Wednesday evenings at a pace of about 17-20 mph.
